Bright Backyard Summer Engagement Styled Shoot

This was the first styled shoot I was a part of since everything with COVID happened and it was SO nice to get out and collaborate again!! This backyard engagement party theme boasted bright and bold colors that just screamed summer fun! As always, all the talented vendors brought their A-game and everything came together perfectly. For the stationery, Katy, the photographer who coordinated the shoot, asked to incorporate unique shapes, so I decided to do a geometric triangle design for the engagement invitation and used that throughout the other stationery items, which included an envelope liner, menu, table number, and escort name cards. I went with a circle menu and table number as well as a half circle shape for the name cards. These shapes made me think of lemons and limes which always reminds me of summer! We set this shoot up right in Katy’s backyard – anyone who wants to throw an outdoor celebration can do this!
